The purpose of this site is to assist you in problem-solving issues regarding implementation of evidence-based health promotion programs, using the (P)RE-AIM framework: (Planning) Reach, Effectiveness, Adoption, Implementation, and Maintenance.
RE-AIM is a systematic way for researchers, practitioners, and policy makers to evaluate health behavior interventions. It can be used to estimate the potential impact of interventions on public health, using these five components:
- Reach into the target population
- Effectiveness
- Adoption by target settings or institutions
- Implementation-consistency of delivery of intervention
- Maintenance of intervention effects in individuals and populations over time
