Partnering to Promote Healthy Aging: Creative Best Practice Community Partnerships

NCOA Center for Healthy Aging, 2004

The purpose of this manual is to provide insights and ideas for building state and local level partnerships between aging, health, and public health services that promote healthy aging. In spite of organizational cultures that differ, agencies can maintain congruency with their respective organizational missions, and at the same time, form interagency linkages of pooled expertise that can serve as a major resource in developing effective and efficient programming, targeting outreach, and augmenting staff capacity.
